Flower Fish Cichlid
The best way to pick out a good flower horn cichlid, is when they are young, its important to looks for the 3 main traits of a good flower horn:
- Look for the start of a good hump on its nape
- The fish should have a strong main colour
- a nice set of flowers along the side
These should all be present in a good young flower horn around 2-3 inches in size. You should also look closely for well formed and defined fins, aswell as of course good tank conditions from birth.
